The Particleboard also popularly known as chipboard is manufactured from wood chipping and laminated on both sides with White foil.
Particleboard has excellent machining properties, is easily cut-to-size, drilled, moulded, embossed, edge profiled and is suitable for making decorative cabinet and wardrobe doors as well as drawer boxes. The warm and inviting tone of Sapeli is a sure winner, both for interior design and commercial furniture.
Description
Particle Board Sapele is reddish to purple-brown. Particle board Sapele grains are inter-locked and somehow wavy, fine texture and natural lustres of Mahogany. Sapele particleboard is a suitable material for the construction of a strong and durable Kitchen Cabinets, furniture and unique interiors.
Its strength arises from the press of wood chip together to create a unique panel that can be used from making wardrobe and cabinet carcasses. It can be intricately and precisely drilled and grooved with CNC on cut-to-size parts without chipping or breaking apart.
Additionally, its surface smoothness ensures a perfect and precise Cut To Size without damaging its outer laminated Sapele.
